Best place for 18650 battery UK
Once you have been vaping for a while, most vapors find it more convenient to move over to a Vaping device with a removable 18650 Battery to allow them to simply switch out the battery when it requires charging, and charge them in an external battery charger. Meaning that your not having to wait for your device to charge and continue vaping, plus it means that you have benefit of being able to take a pair of 18650 batteries with you, in a purpose made plastic battery case, which you can switch out as and when need.
Where to buy your batteries?
There a a huge choice of vaping batteries, and opinions are always split as the what the best 18650 battery in UK is. One of the main things with batteries, is to always buy them from a trusted, well established vaping supplier, whether it be an online vape store, or from you local vape shop. As believe it or not there is a huge problem with fake batteries flooding the market. And when it comes to buying 18650 batteries in the UK, as with most things in life, if it seems to be to good to be true then it probably is. There is no such thing as a cheap battery, it may well look the same and be packaged the same, but unless you trust the supplier, I would stay well clear.
Most established online retailers will offer a good selection of the best 18650 Vaping batteries, as well as the larger 21700 Li-ion Battery, in both pairs and singles.
The leading manufactures in Vaping batteries include Sony, with their Sony VTC4 & VTC6, Samsung’s Vaping classic INR18650-20S & 20R, as well as batteries from companies such as LG with there LG INR 18650HG2 (chocolate blocks). It the last few years there have been some nearer brands coming onto the market, I have been particularly impressed with Golisi which do an impressive range of 18650 batteries, and well as 21700 and 20700.
Battery Capacity
Each of the manufactures do a good selection of battery capacity, which is the mAh rating on each battery, the milliAmp hours, which basically tells you how long your chosen battery will run between charges, so in theory an 18650 battery with a 2000mAh rating, can run at 2000mA (2amps) for one hour or at 1amp for two hours.
So basically when choosing your battery, the higher the capacity number is, the longer the time it will last between charges. Personally I like to go for a 3000mAh battery.
One Battery or Two?
Personally I would always recommend buying Vaping batteries in pairs, in that way you can marry the batteries together, to ensure the best battery performance and life span.
As when you vape using a dual-battery mod, you’re essentially asking for the same thing from both batteries. And the trouble is, If one battery is old and the other is brand new, the older battery won’t respond as well as the new one, and probably won’t hold a charge as well either. And over time one battery will end up doing more work and being under more stress than the other. Which I find shortens the overal life span.
So which every battery you decide to buy, be safe, don’t take risks, and always buy from a reputable established vape store.
