Review of Origins - Canis ELiquid by Gemma Allen at Herbal Tides

Herbal Tides where one of my first supporting vendors, and I have always been a big fan of there creative range of eliquids, I had heard rumours that Gemma, Dan's partner in crime was coming out with her own range of eliquids, and was mega excited when I was offered the chance to review her full range.

The Gemma Allen Signature Series is the culmination of 6 years developing and perfecting; juices that bring a whole new meaning to the term "mixologist". The herbal Tides story has been a long one, and a story we are very proud of. So take a seat, vape thorough the ORIGINS range, and hear our tale...

All of their flavours are mixed on the day of purchase and sent within a few hours. Each bottle is made individually after they receive the order, which ensures the best, freshest taste possible!

Origins - Canis is described on the Herbal Tides website as follows:

"Lick the baking spoon, with a creamy cake batter base. Something special lurks in the shadows that only old sailors dare to tipple upon."

The Origins series ejuices come packaged in a 10ml soft squeeze needle topped plastic bottle with a black child proof safety cap. Each bottle comes individually labeled, featuring an original Tom Cato pencil drawing of the creature the juice is named after.  Each drawing on its own is a little mini master piece, and adding a little puzzle twist, all the labels seem to inter-connect when lined up in the correct order, a great reason to try them all.

This juices gives of quite a strong boozy bakery aroma , with a nice level of sweetness in the background.

On Vaping Canis
As you first draw in the vapor,  you instantly get a hit of bakery sweetness on the tip of your tongue, this sweetness seems to start to disperse as you continue to vape. I couldn't quite put my finger on the flavour that I was getting, as the vapor traveled up my tongue, I have been vaping it all day, and this evening, I think I have it....Rum & Raisin.....I think, that how I would describe the flavour profile that I am getting from this juice.

Sort of a Rum & Raisin bakery slice, if there is such a thing.

As it reaches the back of throat it delivered quite a dry mid level throat hit.

On the exhale you seem to get more of a creamy texture coming through, with a nice level of flavour, from what I would still describe as Rum and Raisin, but you seem to start getting the sweetness coming back, that you seemed to loose a little towards the back of the throat.

This is a real nice bakery inspired vape, with flavour notes of what I think is Rum & raisin, but as always, that is my opinion, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try and letting me know what you think. It smooth and full of flavour, if not a little dry at the back of your throat.
