The Bellus comes fully assembled out of the box, apart from the coils and wicks.

But is easliy broken down into its component parts for coiling and cleaning. as with many of my reviews i will start off by breaking it down into its component parts, which we can look at individually, before building back up and putting a build into it, then we can give it a vape, and see how it performs.

The Bellus is made up of eight main component parts, which can be split into two main section. the atomiser section and  tank section.

The Atomiser section.
The Atomiser section is made up of four main pieces.

Firstly the base cap, which is machined out of 304 stainless steel, with a threaded inside lid, which is used to securely hold the RTA deck and airflow ring in place when inserted into the atomiser base.

The Bellus features direct airflow though to the coils, which is then controlled by the Airflow control ring,

This 304 stainless steel ring has 16 x 1.2mm holes machined into each side, along with the Bellus name engraved into the front. This ring is held snugly in place by the two o-rings on the atomiser body section.

The RTA deck base is also machined out of 304 stainless steel. The base of the deck has a standard 510 threaded connection.

featuring what I believe is a brass center pin, and the UD branding engraved around the edge.

The build deck features two evenly spaced posts, one negative one positive,

The negative post is machined into the deck, whilst the positive post, is set in a kind of L shape coming out of the centre of the deck, then across up into the post, sitting proud of the build deck.

The block of the deck, which the posts sit on, sits proudly up from the flattened base, and has been machined into a cross shape, with cut outs in each corner.

These cut outs allow the tails of the wicks to hang down on both sides and make contact with the juice, coming down through the feeder slots base of the tank.  On the left hand side of the deck you notice a small round cut out, which is where the blocker fits, when running the Bellus in single coil mode, blocking of the juice and air holes on that side. The post have good sized philips screw, and generous terminal holes, which allow thick gauge wire to be used, even when running in dual coil mode. and the centered posts allow for effortless coil centering every time.

The base section of the build deck has a thin black o-ring running around it, which seals it in place, when inserted into the atomiser chamber.

The atomiser chamber has a threaded based, which allows the base cap to be be secured in place, after inserting the deck section. Half way up the sides of the chamber, are located the two massive air flow channels, which sit directly in front of the coils when installed. These holes are surrounded by two rings which hold the air-flow ring in place, when installed.

The top of the chamber has a fat red o-ring which the tank sit on, to seal it in place. coming out of the top of the atomiser chamber is the lower chimney section, that cleverly suspended inside the lower section of the tanks juice well, along side the juice slots.

The long curved juice slots sit at the base of the tank and feed juice down to the wicks, which are set back in the cut out of the deck block.

The Tank Section.
The tank section is made up of 2 main parts. The glass tank and the upper chimney.

The kit comes with two glass tanks, one pre-installed, and one spare in the box.

The upper chimney section, not only acts as the chimney for the atomiser, but also the top of the tank,

The top of the chimney section/tank top incorporates the two fill holes in top. one to let the juice in, and one to let the air out, as you fill it.

Once the glass tank is set in place on the red o-ring on the atomiser, you can then simply screw the top chimney down onto the atomiser. which then seal the tank in place.

The Bellus, has top filling system, which is neatly hidden by the removable top cap and drip tip which simple screws into place.

Bellus Dual Coil Build.
The two pre-supplied 26 guage coils, simply slide into place through the wide holes in the post, and then can be secured in place by the Philips screws.

After installing, straightening, and heating to set, you can then cut two equal strips of organic cotton, and carefully feed them through the coils.

These cotton strips then need to be cut so they sit down into the juice slots, level with base.

The wicks can then be pushed back into the recesses, and juiced up to hold them in place.

Single Coil Build.
When building with a single coil, you need to install the stopper on the other side into the small hole that is in the block.

The block, stops the airflow and juice to that side, and seems to work really well. and simply push fits into the machined hole in the deck.

Once the coil is in place, as with the dual build you simply wick it up and push the wick tails down into the cut outs in the corner of the deck.

Once your chosen build is in place, and you are happy with the wicks, you can then insert the deck into the atomiser chamber.

Ensuring that you line up the notch in the Deck with the cut out in the Chamber wall, and just give it a firm push, you get a sort of 'click' when it is in place, it is quite a tight fit, but can be easily removed by simply tugging of the 510 connection.

When it is installed the coils will sit perfectly behind the massive air holes in the side of the chamber.

You can then slide over the air-flow ring, ensure that at this stage, before filling with juice you turn the airflow completely off. to prevent and seepage whilst filling with juice.

The base cap can now be screwed into place, just hand tight, to keep the deck and seal tight.

The Bellus can now be filled, by simple removing the top cap section, and using a needle tip bottle, you can fill the 5ml tank to thee top.

Once the tank is full, and the top cap and drip tip screwed back in place you can then adjust your air-flow.

Aesthetics and Build Quality

I have been mega impressed with the build quality and machining of the UD Bellus, I have had a few UD products in the past, and they always felt a little bit budget. But that is not at all the case the Bellus, it has a really premium quality feel to it. All the parts are machined to a very high tolerance, and fit together really well, with just the right amount of effort. the threading is smooth and well finished, with no sharp edges. UD really have upped their game with this one, I cant believe what a quality peice of kit you are getting for the budget price.

The Bellus has been very well designed, to give you maxium vapour whilst maintaining the flavour. I love the way the flow goes directly to the coil, very clever.

The deck is super easy to build on, even for a beginner, wide post holes. you can literally, pull the coils through tighten down, straighten, and wick. very clever design. really well laid out.

The fact you can run it in single coil, using the blanking rubber is great, although i didnt think is performed quite as well , it just felt a little unbalanced.

Looks wise i think they have nailed it, with its clean lines, and uncluttered tank,  It just looks like a tank should should look like.

Performance & Real World Experience
You really cant not be impressed by this RTA, After te joy of building on it it, coming the joy of vaping on it, As it said in the description you get the convenience of a Tank with the near flavour and vapour production of a dripper. With the wide open air holes going straight to the coils, rather in in up, round and through, it gives you that instant gratification and hit that you get from a dripper, with no real detachment from the vaping experience. The flavour i found was very well matched to some of my high end drippers.

I have been using this tank every day & night, and it have been virtually faultless, No, well just about no dry hits. and if i did feel the wicking had slowed down, i would just shut of the air flow, and give it a little draw. Most of the time it was due to the fact that the wicking couldn't keep up with the massive lung hits, you find your self taking.

The Bellus is one of the easiest RTA to fill that i have ever come across, no screws,no removing the coils, just unscrew the top cap and top it up. whilst we are on juice, I did find the on dual coil, this tank does eat through juice, not sure if it the wicking or, maybe I just found my self using it more, but it defiantly eats through juice.

Leakage. Well their wasn't any, whilst using it, apart from when you first fill it up, if you forget to close off the air holes, and even then it is only a little dribble.

It really has, and is a pleasure to use.

Conclusion & Recommendation.
You forget when you using the Bellus that is only cost $22.84 /  £15.02. it really is a superb bit of kit. As far a build quality, Flavour and Vapor. I really cant recommend it enough. If your into your RTA's then you need one. If like me you into your Drippers, and don't want to compromise on the vaping experience - you need one. and if you looking for you first RTA, then i would say you wont go wrong with this one.  Well done UD, you have created, what other will follow.

10/10
