The Hexa Pod vaping experience

Hexa Pod System is the newest from the Belgium based company FEELM technology HEXA is one of the new innovative and high-tech vaping products currently on the market. 

Hybrid Nicotine

The Hexa pods contain a hybrid nicotine that combines the best elements of traditional nicotine and modern nicotine salts to create a good balance between throat hit and satisfaction, for a what FEELM Technology states is a "complete and truly satisfying vaping experience."

Ultra efficient battery

Coming per-installed with a 350mmost of a full days worth of light to moderate vaping, and should the device run flat, the HEXA can also be fully charged in less than an hour.

Build Quality and Design

The Hexa has a futuristic design, with its sleek dark gray painted aluminum body, topped off with the black plastic mouthpiece and base. Half way up the body casing it has a upward facing chevron, sitting just above the small, hardly noticeable LED indicator, which shows you when device is activated along with how much power you have remaining in the battery, the light will flash if you draw on it for over 10s, and also when the battery required charging. There’s no real indication of your battery level, which I’ve found somewhat frustrating with some of these pod mods as you could be walking out the door at 50% but have no way of knowing.



I really like the way the Pods are fitted, just dropping into place in the top of the device, being virtually sucked down in place by the relatively strong pair of magnet , there is no right or wrong way to install the pod, it drops into place any way around.

Hexa Pods

The Hexa works with a closed pod system, meaning that each 1.7ml Pods comes prefilled with your chosen flavoured ejuice, Hybrid 20mg or 10mg Nic, once the pod is empty it is literally popped out and thrown away, the sealed pods can not be refilled. 

I not sure i like the idea of just throwing the empty POV away, and would like the option, to install a refillable pod. But I think the Hex is aimed at the fuss free Vaping market, taking the next step up from the fully disposable ecigs and cig-a-likes.

Charging

When the Hexa finally runs flat, as Indicated by the flashing LED. Charging couldn’t by easier. Just plug in the supplied micro usb cable, and your device should be fully charged in just over a hour.

Leakage

One of the main things people look for when purchasing a pod system, apart battery and flavour is leakage, and if the system leaks, I have been using the Hexa Pod system for about a week, and can say that there is zero chance of leakage, and you can through it in your pocket, safe in the knowledge that your not going to have a growing juice patch on your trousers. Doesn’t seem to matter which way up it is, or if it is left laying on the side charging, not a single drop of juice leaks out.

Flavour 

I think when you talk about flavour, you have to compare Apples with Apples, I’ve found that pod systems seem to generate a specific level of flavour, normally quite a muted, almost subtle level of flavour, and seemed to be more to do with delivering a Nicotine hint, rather than tasting nice. The Hexa on the other delivers a precise level of flavour with every draw. With clean sharp edges to the flavour. I found I really liked the BlueBerry 10mg Pods. It delivered a sweet uncomplicated Blueberry infusion, which on exhale was quite lively, with a fruity bounce.

The Tobacco Menthol Hexa Pod is a light and sweet tobacco flavour on inhale, that's been paired with menthol for a smooth and icy exhale, ideal for vapers looking for a cooling vape.

The Tobacco Hexa Pod is a rich and sweet tobacco flavour with honey notes on inhale and a nutty exhale for a layered blend.

Menthol

The Menthol Pod by Hexa has an icy menthol flavour on both inhale and exhale, with a sweet undertone giving this ejuice a light finish.

Blueberry

The Blueberry Hexa Pod has a sweet and juicy blueberry flavour that's present on inhale and exhale, the berry has an authentic berry taste with ripe tasting notes.

Performance & Airflow.

Considering I’m not an everyday pod vapor, and tend to use more powerful mods and Atomiser, I was really impressed with the performance of the Hexa pod system, giving a nice amount of vapour production, the perfect level of vapour for a good mouth-to-lung hit. The coil set up that are preinstalled in each pod performed really well, with no dry hits, and a nice cool vape, considering how small the pods are.  I was also really surprised with how long each 1.7ml pod would last, easily lasting most of day, of steady Vaping. Considering I can get through 30ml in a day when Vaping on my bigger, more juice hungry set ups. So your going to be getting through a through two or three boxes of pods per week (2 x pods per box) which could add up, price wise each week, as each pair of pods is around £6.99. So you could find yourself spending around £20 a week on pods, which when you think about it is a hell of a lot cheaper than fags, and the added benefit that you won’t smell like an ashtray, and be shortening your life span.

The airflow is tight, tighter than other pod systems I have tried, but in keeping with this style of device.

Final Thoughts.

I have been really quite impressed with the Hexa Closed Pod System, and surprisingly found my self reaching for it when I went out in and about.  It was quite refreshing to have a vape setup that I could just slip in my pocket, without having to carry my mod about. And due to the closed pod system, I could just throw a couple of extra pods in my bag. With no worrying about juice leakage. I was concerned that I wouldn’t enjoy Vaping at 10 to 20 mg, as I normally vape at 3mg, but due to set up, it was not harsh at all, a gave you a smooth hit from the Nic.  A great stealthily vape 💨 due to its super small size, and minimal vapour production, that is instantly re-inhaled.

With definitely be recommending the Hexa Closed Pod System, to my friends and family that still smoke, and constantly looking for a vape set up that allows for an easy transition.
