Augvape Narada Pro
The team over at Augvape very kindly sent over the latest addition to Narada family, the same name, the same DNA, but a with host of new features.
A few months ago I reviewed the original Narada Pod, which I had a real sweet spot for, but it had its frustrations and limitations. The team at Augvape have listened and taken onboard the feedback from its customers, and have come up with a whole new Narada, the Narada Pro.
As part of this redesign, they have teamed up with Vaperizzo, to recreate a pod, designed for everyone.
Introduction
The all in one kit is designed to be used by everyone, Multiple coil options allow the device to be used with any type of e- liquid. With Type C USB you will get fast charges, allowing the 950mah internal battery to reach 80% in just 25minutes so you’ll never get caught short of power.
The upgraded RBA deck (Sold Separately) comes with an adapter which allows you to pulse and wick your coils on the device. Small compact and available in various colours and finishes the Narada Pro packs a punch and delivers fanstastic flavour for such a small portable device.

Design and Build Quality.
The Narada Pro, has a real premium feel to it, and has been machined and cast out of Zinc Alloy to a very high standard. And a great weight, and feel in the hand.
With its chiselled good looks, the angled edged zinc alloy frame, runs around the outside of the device, with not a sharpe edge in sight. Depending on which one you have chosen, the chassis is coated in either black, red or a smart looking gun metal.
This frame outlines the contrasting distinctive side panels, finished with either carbon fibre (which was what I was sent), Wood, or embossed black leather.
One of main issues with the original Narada, was the limited view that you had of the tank section, due to only having one side open. Which I’m glad to see has been totally fixed on the pro, with the tank section, making up one whole corner of the device, open at both sides, giving you the perfect view of your tank, so you can easily see the level, by holding it up to the fight.
Full control.
Augvape and Vaporizzo have work hard to maintain the classy minimalistic look, whilst giving you more control. The fire switch has doubled up, as the fire button, and the control switch. By installing a rotating wheel into the actual button.
Rotating the fire button, allows you to adjust the wattage of the device, with nice Clicky rotation, giving you feedback, as you move up or down a watt. Rotating it clock wise will increase the wattage, and anti-clockwise to decrease the wattage, Allowing you to adjust from 5w to 30 watts.
The results of rotating the control wheel, can be clearly seem in the small but bright lCD screen located on the top of the device.
I definitely missed not having a screen on the original Narada, mainly to allow you to see how much battery life you had left, before you went out the door, so that’s another bid tick ✔️ for the Pro.
The small screen gives you the wattage, battery bar of resistance of the coil. The three must haves on any mod, so perfectly simple. The only couple of things that I would change, would be, to allow you to rotate the screen, as depending how you hold it, the screen will appear upside down. Secondly I would like to be able to adjust the brightness of the screen, as it can be quite bright, and distracting, staining up at you, whilst you vape, lighting up your nose, if you vape in the dark.
I’m really pleased that they positioned the screen on the top, rather than trying to squeeze it onto the side, which would have taken away from the overall look.
Full Tank.
Depending on your location, your Narada Pro will either come with a 3.7ml capacity tank, or 2.0ml (TPD Compliant), the pod is super easy to fill, with an easy to open rubber plug, that once opened reveals a good sized fill hole , which is the perfect size, to prevent any airlocks, allowing stress free, spill free.
Again, the improvements to fill port size is a great improvement of the original Narada, so another big Tick ✅.
The Narada Pro also features a standard 510 drip tip, which is nice to see on a pod system, and allows you to personalise your Pro, with your favourite drip tip.
Full Airflow Control
The airflow on the Pro, couldn’t be simpler, the full airflow control is done through the up and down adjustment, of the airflow slider, located on the on the back of the tank, just below the drip tip. The slider it’s self is quite stiff, and you just need to push it up or down. Up gives you a loose MTL vape, were as sliding it down, gives you a slightly tighter draw, but possible not tight enough for a full MTL vape.
Choice of Coils.
The Narada Pro comes with a choice of two coil, to match your vaping style.
0.4 ohm Mesh Coil
1.0 ohm MTL Coil.
Narada Pro coil heads are available in both 1.0Ω MTL and 0.4Ω Kanthal mesh variations. These coil heads slot easily into the Narada's reusable cartridge thanks to a press-fit coil installation method.
Each replacement coil head features 100% organic cotton for the best flavour possible, while the four large e-liquid holes improve the speed at which e-liquid is absorbed, eliminating the possibility of a dry hit.
Narada Pro RBA
In addition to the two coils that come in the kit, you also have the option to purchase a Rebuildable RBA base, that allows you to set the coil to you liking and wick to suit. And means that you won’t have to keep purchasing replacement coils.
The RBA Build, is simple yet a little bit fiddly due to is size, and does take a steady hand.
Simply unscrew the chamber cap, to expose the deck. The deck will allow you to install coils up to 2.5 mm coils, it would have been nice if they had designed the deck with both posts on one side, to allow for slightly larger builds.
The RBA Base Build
Release the two post screws carefully, ensuring that you don’t take them out completely, as they are quite hard to put back in.
The put your choose coil, on a 2.5mm coiling rod, and wind back one of the coil legs, some that they are facing in opposite directions.
Then carefully lay each coil leg carefully under each screw, and then carefully tighten the screw down on each post, once they are tight, you can then use the coiling rod, to adjust and straighten, ensure that the coil is in the centre, and not touching either side, the just trim off the coil tails.
The RBA base can then be installed into the base holder, by simply press fitting it in as you would a coil.
The adaptor can the be installed into the Narada Pro, and pulse fired, to ensure than all the hot spots have been removed, and it is heating evening.
Once you are happy with the coil, you can wick the coil, it really doesn’t take much cotton, and once threaded, I just trim off, level with each side of the base.
Comb out the cotton, and retrim, and carefully place the cotton, down into the juice ports.
The cotton, only needs to be gently place in the ports, to prevent choking off of the juice, by over packing.
Then you can juice the cotton up, and adjust if normal, then screw down the cap, remove from the adaptor, an£ then just press fit it into the pod system, fill up and your ready to go.
Performance and every day Vaping.
Considering it’s such a small pod, I have been really impressed with it, especially after all the improvements, with the tank, control wheel and display. They have created a truly great little pod system. Which I’m pleased to say Vape’s really well.
I have been vaping at around 25w, with the airflow about half and half, and have been getting a great level of flavour out of the mesh coil.
My favourite set up has been using RBA base, air flow closed off, at 25w , on a standard 2.5mm Kanthal coil running at 0.85ohms. Which produced a flavourfull warm vape, with a dense vape.
Whilst vaping on and off through the day, the battery lasts well into the evening, and I tend to stick it on charge when I get home, which with the type C charger, it takes a about 25 minutes to be back up to about 80% , which is super handy.
All in all it is a great little pod, and a great improvement over the original.
