I was contacted by the team at The Vapor Establishment based out of Indiana, USA. And asked if I would review there range of hand crafted Tobacco based E-liquids. These eliquids were sent to me free of charge for the purpose of this review.

This eliquid arrived well packaged in a 30ml glass black textured bottle, with a black child proof safety cap, with built in pipette.
It has a contrasting white gloss label, with Raven's Cut N.E.T written across the top of the label in blood red print. This sits above the the Ravens Cut logo, a pen and ink drawn raven resting on a branch. Below it is clearly labeled with the name of the juice. To the right of the label are small tick boxes, indicating the nicotine strength and PG/VG blend. Nicely packaged and well labelled.
Aroma.
As you break the tamper proof seal, and unscrew the child proof safety cap, I was expecting quite a strong tobacco aroma, but instead you get quite a lite fait aroma with notes of tobacco. This juice definitely doesn't give much away from the aroma.
On vaping North American Fire Cured
This is the first of the Raven's Cut E-Juices to be reviewed, so I was looking forward to seeing what level of flavour they had managed to infuse.
As you start to inhale, drawing the Vapor across your tongue, you start to get that distinctive natural sweetness developing on the tip of your tongue, whilst the Vapor continues to travel up your tongue. It has a nice smoothness to it, as you continue to draw it in.
The infusion of flavour seems to be suspended in the Vapor, and only when you reach the end of your inhale, and just at the turning point before you start to exhale, does the full flavour seem to release, as it washes back over your tongue. I seemed to get a rich well aged very natural tasting, quite sweet tobacco flavour glide its way down the sides of my tongue. In no way an over engineered flavour, more a rustic rolling leaf tobacco.
I was surprised at how smooth the throat it was, from such a rich full bodied flavour, more a flavour hit at the back of the throat rather than a nicotine kick, still very satisfying, and very in keeping with the overall Vape.
The exhale, satisfying delivers more of the full bodied uncomplicated leaf tobacco flavour, with a pleasing level of sweetness, that seems to continue to develop and build on the tip of your tongue.
Conclusion.
I have found over the last couple of years that Tobacco based ejuices, can either be very average or very good, and you only really find out which, as you continue to Vape on them. I think the true test of a good tobacco Vape, is how natural it tastes, and how long you can Vape it for before you start to loss that natural tobacco sweetness. The guy at The Vapor Establishment seem to have got this one fairly spot on. Lots of natural tobacco leaf flavour, with just the right amount of natural sweetness, with out being to overpower. I don't miss smoking at all, the stinky smell, and over manufactured, chemically enhanced flavours. But what I do miss is the aroma and taste of tobacco, that I used to get when I opened a fresh pouch of my favourite rolling tobacco. I think that's what they have tried to capture with this juice, the essence of true tobacco. And personally I think they have done a pretty good job, and I am looking forward to reviewing the rest of the Raven's Cut range.
