Materials & Feel: The chassis is constructed from a durable Zinc Alloy frame, giving it a solid, weighty, and premium feel in the hand (around 114g). This is paired with decorative panels, which are available in stylish finishes like Artificial Leather, IML (In-Mould Labelling) Marble, or Faux Wood effects. This combination delivers both durability and a luxury aesthetic.
Form Factor: It retains the signature square/compact profile of the XLIM SQ series but is refined with smoother edges for a more ergonomic grip and comfortable pocket-carry. It's designed to be sleek and highly portable despite the large battery and screen.
The Touchscreen Display: The most striking feature is the large 1.09-inch HD Smart Touch Screen.
Clarity and Responsiveness: It boasts a high-resolution display (248x240, 316 PPI) and a 60Hz refresh rate, which is comparable to a mobile phone screen. This makes the graphics, animations, and text incredibly crisp and vibrant.
User Interface: The touch input is highly accurate and responsive (under 30ms response time), which is crucial for a touchscreen device. It replaces the traditional adjustment buttons, making navigation feel modern and intuitive, much like a smartwatch.

Touchscreen Navigation: It’s genuinely smartphone-like. A quick swipe to the right unlocks the screen and lets you easily adjust your wattage in Power Mode. Swiping down accesses the main menu, where you can delve into the settings, switch between modes, and even explore the fantastic customisation options (think different themes, wallpapers, and dynamic vaping animations!).
Modes:
Smart Mode: This is brilliant for beginners or just for when you’re busy. It automatically reads the installed coil resistance and sets the optimal wattage for you. No guesswork, just perfect flavour.
Power Mode: This is where I lived. It gives you full manual control over the 5w to 30w output, allowing you to fine-tune your draw to the absolute perfect setting.
Eco Mode: A clever feature that dials down the screen brightness and power consumption to extend that already amazing battery life.
The Single Button: This is used for simple functions—five clicks to power on/off and one click to wake the screen. Critically, the device is auto-draw only, which performed flawlessly for me. No accidental pocket firing, just smooth, instant activation every single time I took a puff.
Vaping and Everyday Use: Flavour, Power, and Longevity
This is where the XLIM SQ PRO 2 cemented its spot as my new daily driver.
Flavour Performance
The XLIM pods are already legendary, and they perform better than ever on this device. The mesh coils inside deliver a flavour that is consistently punchy, rich, and clean. Whether I was using the 0.6Ohm pod for a slightly warmer, cloudier vape or the 0.8ohm pod for my preferred tighter MTL experience, the flavour, as with all of the OXVA XLIM pods was phenomenal. Every subtle note of my favourite nic salt was fully present, from the very first puff to well over a week later. Can't get over how long these OXVA pods are lasting now.
Airflow and Draw
The side airflow slider is smooth. It offers a precise range, from a super-tight, MTL draw all the way to a very satisfying restricted direct-lung (RDL) hit. The ability to fine-tune the airflow, combined with the adjustable wattage on the screen, means you can truly dial in your perfect vape. The auto-draw mechanism is spot-on and incredibly responsive—zero lag.
Battery Life and Charging
The 1600mAh battery is the hero here. For a compact pod kit, this is a huge capacity. As a fairly heavy vaper, I comfortably got an entire day's use, sometimes even a day and a half, without needing to recharge. If you utilise the Eco Mode, OXVA even claims up to seven days! When it does need charging, the 2A USB-C fast charging is a massive plus, getting me back to a full battery in under an hour. Battery anxiety is essentially eliminated with this kit.
Negatives & Positives: The Final Tally
Finding a genuine negative on the XLIM SQ PRO 2 is a challenge! My 'cons' are less about flaws and more about nit-picks:

Negatives (Minor Nit-picks)
It’s a Little Heavier: At 114g, it’s a solid piece of kit, which might be too substantial for those who prefer ultra-lightweight vapes. I personally like the quality feel this weight provides.
Touchscreen Fingerprints: Like any glossy screen, it will pick up the occasional fingerprint, requiring a quick wipe to keep it looking pristine.
