If you’ve followed my reviews for a while, you’ll know I’ve covered every device in OXVA’s hugely successful XLIM Series since day one. And just when you think OXVA can’t possibly refine this line any further, they release another evolution that proves otherwise. The new OXVA XLIM Pro 2 is the latest in this award-winning family — and it’s safe to say the “Pro Experience” really has been redefined.
Honour of the XLIM Series
The XLIM range has been the sales champion of pod systems in both 2023 and 2024, and OXVA shows no signs of slowing down. With each new addition, they somehow manage to elevate what’s already a near-perfect design.

What’s New – XLIM Pro vs XLIM Pro 2
OXVA hasn’t just polished the edges — they’ve given the Pro 2 some real, meaningful upgrades that enhance both form and function.

HD Colour Screen (33% Bigger at 0.56”)
The new HD display is sharp, bright, and colourful. At 33% larger, it’s much easier to read on the go, with a crisp, premium look that feels far more modern. -
Battery Upgrade (Now 1300mAh – 30% Larger)
A 30% increase in capacity means longer vaping between charges. OXVA advertises a four-day runtime — while that’s optimistic for heavy vapers like me, I still got a solid day and a half before needing a top-up. Charging is quick too: about 35–40 minutes using a 2A fast charger. -
New RGB Lighting Themes
The Pro 2 adds two extra LED themes. Choose from Fireworks, Whirl of Vapour, or Rainbow effects. My favourite is Whirl of Vapour, which elegantly glows to show your battery level while vaping — subtle, classy, and a nice touch of character. -
Expanded Puff Counter
The puff counter now stores 10x more data, showing up to five digits. Handy for tracking usage or coil lifespan. -
Improved Power Efficiency
With the upgraded chipset, OXVA claims up to 33% longer use per charge. In real-world use, this definitely translates to longer sessions between recharges.
Design & Build Quality
The OXVA XLIM Pro 2 continues the sleek, compact design language of the series — with some subtle refinements that give it a noticeably more premium feel.
At 67g, it’s just 1 gram heavier than the Pro but packs a bigger 1300mAh battery. Dimension-wise, it’s almost identical, only 3mm longer, which you won’t even notice.
The finish is where the magic happens. The IML (In-Mould Labelling) panels create a glass-like veneer that feels ultra-smooth, with a beautiful brushed depth effect. The Orange version I tested has a striking look — glossy yet refined. I haven’t seen any other manufacturer use IML quite like this, and it gives the Pro 2 a truly high-end appearance.
Attention to detail is everywhere. The etched silver function button has a lovely tactile feel, and the XLIM PRO 2 logo is lightly engraved along the body.
On the right-hand side, the airflow control slider offers just the right amount of resistance, letting you dial in anything from a tight MTL to a looser RDL draw. It sits flush, too — no awkward protrusion.
The 0.56” colour display is framed by a slim bezel that slightly raises it above the chassis, keeping it well-protected. At the bottom, you’ll find the Type-C charging port and two neat screws holding everything firmly in place. Build quality is absolutely spot-on.
Animations & User Interface
OXVA’s new display options add some fun personality without overcomplicating things. There are three animation modes:

When using Fireworks or Whirl, the LED below the screen reflects your battery level (green, blue, or red). The Rainbow mode, meanwhile, just cycles through colours continuously — more for aesthetics than practicality.
I like that OXVA has included options here without going overboard. The animations look smooth, and the colours pop beautifully on the HD screen.
Controls & Navigation
The XLIM Pro 2 keeps things straightforward. It’s auto-draw only, meaning no accidental pocket-firing. The button serves purely for navigation and adjustments:

Pods & Compatibility
The XLIM Pro 2 runs the latest OXVA XLIM V3 pods, which are fully compatible with all previous XLIM devices — a massive win for long-time users.

The top-fill design keeps refilling easy and mess-free. In use, the flavour is as outstanding as ever — clean, consistent, and leak-free throughout testing.
Battery Life & Charging
With a 1300mAh battery, the Pro 2 is no slouch. For most moderate vapers, it’ll last 1.5–2 days comfortably. Heavy vapers can expect a full day of solid use.
Recharging via Type-C 2A fast charge took just 35–40 minutes from flat to full. It’d be great to see a “charging time remaining” indicator on a future model — maybe that’s one for the XLIM Pro 3!
Performance-wise, the Pro 2’s efficiency is excellent, and it stays consistent right down to the final few puffs before low battery.
Vaping Experience
Using the XLIM Pro 2 is about as effortless as it gets. The auto-draw activation fires instantly and reliably every time.
The auto coil detection smartly adjusts wattage for the installed pod, but you can still tweak power manually if you prefer a slightly warmer or cooler vape. I usually bump mine up by +1W from default for that perfect balance.
The airflow slider offers excellent tuning — I keep mine halfway for a comfortable MTL draw, but you can easily open it up for a looser hit. Flavour and vapour production are top-tier, and even after 4,500+ puffs, I’ve had no leaking, gurgling, or drop in flavour quality.
Final Thoughts – OXVA XLIM Pro 2
OXVA continues to raise the bar with every XLIM release, and the XLIM Pro 2 is no exception. It’s a worthy successor to the Pro — bigger battery, crisper screen, smoother operation, and the same flawless performance we’ve come to expect.
It’s stylish, reliable, and incredibly user-friendly — easily one of the best pod systems on the market right now.
