Veepon VeeX Pod Kit Review: Premium Performance in a Pod
Veepon has long been a name synonymous with high-end AIO (All-In-One) systems and quality rebuildable. They’ve built a reputation among enthusiast vapers for precision engineering and "pro" features. Today, we are looking at their latest venture, the Veepon VeeX Pod Kit. It marks a shift for the brand into the more accessible refillable pod space, but does it maintain that premium DNA we’ve come to expect? Let's find out.
This product was sent to me directly from Veepon for the purposes of this review.
Introduction to Veepon
If you aren't familiar with Veepon, they are the minds behind some very popular Boro-compatible devices and RBA bridges. They generally focus on the "prosumer" end of the market—vapers who want durability and customization. With the VeeX, they are bringing that "boutique" feel to a pocket-friendly pod system designed for both MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) and RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) vapers.

Build and Design
The first thing you notice about the VeeX is the chassis. Crafted from Aluminium Alloy, the build quality is nothing short of exceptional. It has a premium, almost iPhone-like feel in the hand—smooth, cool to the touch, and reassuringly solid without being heavy.
Even the pod connection has been over-engineered; the magnets are incredibly strong, snapping the cartridge into place with a satisfying "thunk" that ensures it isn't going anywhere.
On the side, you’ll find the airflow control slider. It has just the right amount of slide resistance—firm enough that it won't move in your pocket, but smooth enough to adjust with a single finger. Like the rest of the device, it feels high-end.
This premium tactile experience extends to the single function button, which feels crisp and tactile, more like a volume rocker you'd find on a Samsung Galaxy than a typical vape button.
The 0.49-inch LED screen is a masterclass in "function over form." While it is quite small to keep in scale with the device’s compact footprint, it is bright and legible, providing all the essential information—wattage, resistance, and battery—without cluttering the sleek aesthetic.
The VeeX Pods & 510 Drip Tips
One of the most impressive aspects of this kit is the attention to detail in the consumables. The kit comes with two cartridges—a 0.6Ω and a 1.0Ω—but it’s the construction that really sets them apart.
Glass-Like Clarity
While most pods use a murky, matte, or heavily tinted PCTG plastic, the VeeX pods have a high-gloss finish that looks more like crystal-clear glass than plastic. This doesn't just look premium; it makes checking your e-liquid levels incredibly easy, even in low light. You won't be squinting to see if you're about to hit a dry coil here.
Effortless Filling
The front-fill port is a standout feature for everyday convenience. The silicone plug is designed with a small lip that is remarkably easy to get a fingernail under—no more wrestling with stubborn rubber bungs. Once open, the port is plenty wide enough for standard 10ml or shortfill bottles, and it seals back up with a reassuringly airtight click.
Professional Drip Tips
The inclusion of 510 drip tip compatibility is a massive win for customization, but the two tips Veepon includes in the box are so good you might not feel the need to swap them out:
Stainless Steel & Delrin: This tip feels high-end and hefty. The Delrin base keeps the heat away from your lips, while the stainless steel top adds that premium "mod" aesthetic.
PCTG Tip: A lighter, more streamlined option that matches the clear aesthetic of the pod itself.
Both tips feature a double O-ring design that ensures an incredibly snug fit. There is absolutely zero wobble or play; once you push them in, they feel like a permanent part of the pod, providing a smooth, consistent draw without any air leakage.
Functions and Controls
Despite its high-end appearance, the VeeX is refreshingly logical to operate. Using the single side button, you have full control over your experience:
On/Off: 5 clicks of the fire button.
Adjusting Wattage: Press the button 3 times. While the wattage is flashing on the screen, press the button to cycle upwards in 0.5W increments.
Lock/Unlock Fire Button: Press the button 4 times. This locks the button to prevent accidental firing in your pocket, but the auto-draw activation will still work, which is a great safety touch.
Clear Puff Counter: Simply remove the pod from the device and long-press the fire button.
The VeeX features an intelligent chipset designed to protect your coils. It automatically generates a safe power range based on the resistance of the pod you’ve inserted. For example, with the 0.6Ω coil, the range is capped between 5–28W, while the 1.0Ω coil is limited to 5–18W. This "smart" feature is a lifesaver for preventing accidental dry hits or burnt cotton if you accidentally crank the power too high.
Battery Life and Charging
With a 1000mAh battery, the VeeX comfortably lasts a full day of moderate to heavy vaping. When you do run low, the USB Type-C port supports fast charging, so you aren't tethered to a cable for long.
Everyday Vaping
The real magic is in the VeeX Cartridges. Veepon claims their upgraded mesh cores and improved cotton saturation provide 40% more flavor than standard pods. In practice, the flavor is remarkably crisp.
1.0Ω Pod: Perfect for 50/50 Nic Salts. The throat hit is defined and the flavor of dessert or fruit liquids really pops.
0.6Ω Pod: This opens things up for freebase e-liquids and a more clouds-focused RDL experience.
The front-fill port is a massive "quality of life" improvement—you still have to pull the pod out to top up your juice. but, the multi-layer structure has kept the base of the pod bone-dry throughout my week of testing. so no sticky fingers.
Conclusion and Recommendations
The Veepon VeeX is a "bridge" device. It offers the simplicity of a pod system with the build quality and customization of a high-end mod. It’s an ideal choice for the vaper who is tired of disposable-feeling plastic kits and wants something that feels like a piece of high-end consumer electronics.
Who is this for? Vapers who switch between Nic Salts and Freebase and those who value being able to use their own 510 drip tips.
